Clinker built dinghy, mahogany on oak, 10 feet long, light construction which makes it easy to row, has been used with a small seagull engine. Very good sea boat. Includes two very good oars, brass rowlocks, fenders, painter, anchor and a brass bracket for a seagull engine (no engine and no trailer). It's about 40 years old (quality timber) new oak ribs fitted 10 years ago. The dinghy is in Swanage, Dorset and I am in London but a viewing can be arranged (Dave ). Tideway sailing dinghy, a clinker built 'Super'

TW2 a Super Tideway, Egret (aka Allegretto) Built in and owned by Alan Smith for decades before I bought her in October, . She is in good sailing condition but needs some re-varnishing. Her original name was Allegretto but we renamed her Egret for personal and insurance purposes but the original Allegretto lettering remains on her stern but rather faded. She spent the winter of in my boathouse to first dry out after which repairs to her stem were carried out together with sika sealing the entire hull (see the photo of her suspended by straps). Unfortunately, I have only been able to sail her seldom since then and have reluctantly acknowledged that circumstances mean I am not able to sail or maintain her as she deserves. She is for sale with all the equipment she had when I bought her, all the sails, cover, running rigging and oars together with a road trailer. In the summer I keep her afloat and moored in my sheltered dike at Potter Heigham in the Noirfolk Broads. Further details and photographs are available if you email me. 16ft wooden clinker built boat by J.W.MACKAY of Ayr

For sale is a 16ft wooden clinker built boat by J.W. MACKAY of Ayr. The boat was completely restored in with a new quarter deck and new seating (American oak). The first 4 pictures show the boat after the restoration, the other pictures where taken a few days ago. The boat was used on various film shoots and TV productions in including the forthcoming movie Victoria and Abdul with Judi Dench. During unloading from a trailer some damage had been done and two holes had been punched below the water line. Consequently it was made watertight again by a very reputable boatyard in Arbroath. I stress made watertight with marine ply, NOT professionally repaired. It needs a few planks and ribs replaced and another sand down and varnish to bring it back to its former glory. Once restored I was told that it should be worth around £. The boat is currently in the water on Loch Katrine. Inspection and a test cruise is possible at prior arrangement.
