In good condition slight crack in one of the firebricks doesn't affect the fire at all and are cheap and easy to replace if you wanted. The Cube has primary and secondary air controls, which can control the output from 0 to 6.5kW. A large ceramic window by Schott gives a good view of the fire and is kept clear by the air-wash system.
