It had only recently been fitted when we moved into our house; we refurnished the bedroom shortly after, changing the carpet to match the new colours. Since we took it up it's been wrapped in plastic and stored in a dry garage. It is a long pile (semi-shag) and, before we took it up, it felt lovely to walk on - just right for a bedroom! We were going to re-use it another bedroom we've just redecorated, but it's not big enough and, although we could buy more and do the room in two pieces, we can't get a colour match. The same style/quality carpet retails at around £13 per sq.m so you're looking at just over £100 worth if you bought it new. An absolute bargain at just £20 (we need it gone - we want the space back in the garage!) - you'll need some decent underlay to lay it on but you should be able to redo a bedroom for £not-very-much.
