Fitted with 700C aluminium wheels wearing 35 x 622 tyres. 21 speed and fitted with combined brake/gear shift levers. 23.5 inch frame made from Renolds 531 tubing. Aluminium handlebars and brake calipers. All gears selectable with no chain slippage, though the front mech change is not the slickest or quickest I have encountered - the lever is also mis-matched from the one for the rear changer, as the sharper eyed of you will have noticed. Dawes Stratos Retro Racing Bike...

Dawes Stratos Retro Racing Bike, I bought this bike new in and have lovingly cared for it since purchase. It has a xl Reynolds 531 competition steel frame and is fitted with a full 14 speed Shimano 105 group set. I’m 6ft and the frame is ok for me. The wheels have Mavic rims and Shimano 105 hubs which still turn brilliantly and just run on and on. The bike has spent much of its later life on a turbo trainer and so there are some signs of cosmetic surface corrosion to the frame that could be dealt with easily.
