  Buffet Crampon B12 Clarinet - Reasonable

A used Buffet Crampon B12 Clarinet. Has been in storage for about 15 years so needs a good clean and service (the silver is slightly tarnished and has surface corrosion in places) but all keys are working without sticking and cork is all good at fits together tightly. I'm confident it would clean up well and be a very good, usable instrument. Silver plated keys & resin body. *Please note, I'm not selling this as a 'remove from the box and start playing' instrument. It may still play fine but would definitely benefit from some 'restorative' work.* But bear in mind these cost £400+ new. Case is in reasonable condition, a few marks & chips but still does the job. Any questions, feel free to ask (although as its about 15 years since I played the clarinet, my knowledge is a bit vague!)

Great instrument and lovely to play. These are £440 new. Keywork is silver plated. I've looked after it well - cleaned, greased and packed away after every time I've played it. Includes a cleaning cloth and cork grease. Hard case is still in working condition. I learnt on this instrument and unfortunately just don't have the time to play anymore. Not used for considerable time, but stored in a dry cupboard. Plays ok. Pads appear ok. Some scratches to surface but this would not affect the sound. Two Rico reeds that might be ok but not sure. Flawless instrument, stunning sound, only selling as I am at university and seems a great waste to have lying around! It comes in a hard case (as shown in the pictures) and includes the original mouthpiece that is unused, and the Vandoren 5 RV mouthpiece (RRP £89) that is my preferred choice and produces a lovely sound. I have also includes my leather mouthpiece strap as this is what I have always used a produces a far better sound that any metal one. However due to this is means I have misplaced the original metal mouthpiece strap! It has been professionally serviced but I am willing to get it checked over again if you buy it. Read More
