Official watch supplier of the British army, Moise Dreyfuss started his company, Rotary Watches, in , after first having gained experience as a watch factory salesman. In , his two sons, Georges and Sylvain, left for Britain to conquer the (watch) market there. In , they opened an office. The watches were imported from Switzerland. The company kept growing, and in they introduced the Rotary logo, a winged wheel. In , Rotary was appointed official watch supplier for the British Army. In , Robert Dreyfuss entered the company, the fourth generation of an entirely independent family business. In , Rotary Watches opened its new head office on Regent Street in London. This watch is a lovely example of the aforementioned, with its gold plated case of approx. 42 mm and a bracelet of approx. 20 cm.
