This is an early Georgian dining table that's been in my family for generations. It has a surface-protecting foam cover that can be used under a table cloth. One leaf has a very old split in it with an equally old repair. We always used the table for everyday use and is still very usable. Once very valuable, it's now classed as 'brown furniture' and not very sought after, so much cheaper than an Ikea equivalent.
