14hh 7 year old Welsh section D x cob mare. Beautiful nature, very easy to do. Good for farrier, to load, groom etc. Lives out with shelter, very good doer. Busby is unbroken - she came to me in September as a companion for my gelding. Previous owner sent her away for backing but she showed discomfort under saddle so they decided to rehome her as a companion without investigating the problem. I had a Chiropractor out who found she had a stiff pelvis and thought it may have stiffened after she has a foal aged 4. She had treatment and looks much more free through her pelvis now so I see no reason why she shouldn't be backed to ride or drive by somebody using patience and kindness. She really is the sweetest mare, such a lovely nature. She is good to rug, farrier, worm, will stand all day to be groomed and loves a fuss. She has fantastic blood lines as her passport shows. Good with other horses and not at all fazed by traffic, cars, tractors, lorrys etc she has seen it all. **ONE NOT TO BE MISSED** We have made the heart breaking decision to sell our beloved pony. Chanel has been a part of our family for over 4 years and has taught my 3 daughters to ride, giving them the confidence they need. I cannot fault this pony one bit, always looked after by children. She has lovely ground manners, easy to lead etc... Chanel has 3 lovely paces. She loves to jump and can easily jump 1 metre. She loves a gallop across the field but is easy to stop. She's a forward going pony but never silly or strong. Chanel has been on fun rides, beach, dressage and local shows where she's always in the ribbons. She is currently barefoot has she has good hard hooves, good for farrier. Chanel hacks out alone or in company and isn't phased by traffic. She can sometimes try to nap a little if on her own but just needs a gentle push on. This pony is certainly a yard favourite and will be greatly missed.
