Derby Museums is an independent charitable trust that runs the three museums in Derby. It is very proud of Its heritage and the fact that they are free to enter, meaning they are accessible for all regardless of who you are. to help remain free, the museum is holding a Christmas Masquerade Ball at The Silk Mill museum on 15 December . Begin the evening with a warming glass of mulled wine whilst listening to a local Primary School choir singing festive carols. Enjoy a traditional three course meal prepared by local celebrity chef and the country’s leading Game Chef, Ralph Skripek who will personally catch and prepare the produce to ensure the freshest ingredients are used from local Derbyshire farms. Visit our fully licensed bar; stocked with local ales, speciality wines and plenty of champagne. We will also have a cocktail bar serving up festive cocktails throughout the evening, some of which are exclusive to The Silk Mill.
