You're looking at an ad for a Beautiful Chinese Dining Table set with Six Chairs all made from Solid Rosewood in the Classic Oriental Ming Design. Purchased 25 years ago in the early 90's from Hong Kong where it was sourced & manufactured - this table set with the uniquely carved chairs is a rare piece. Been kept wrapped up for the best part of two decades - dining table and all six chairs are in truly immaculate condition. Barely any surface marks to speak of as it has not been in use. Comfortably seats six - the beautifully carved chairs have a Hong Kong emblem etched into the backrest of each of them. A multiple piece set made with rare expertise. Famous ming feet displayed in the pictures. Chinese Rosewood Dining Table

A Chinese Rosewood Dining Table purchased in whilst working in Hong Kong. Shipped back on return to the UK later that year. It comes with 2 carvers and 4 normal chairs, this size of table could seat 8 but with a squeeze. The two centre sections can be lifted out individually or together to reduce the size to suit the room and just extend when you have more guests. It is a much loved item of furniture that has hosted many dinner parties and happy evenings with lots of good food, wine flowing with much fun and laughter. Alas having moved last year it just does not suit our kitchen as it is too smart and should really adorn a dining room which we do not have in this house and as a result regrettably it is to be sold to hopefully someone who will appreciate it as much as we have. There is one small chip (see photo) but otherwise is in very good condition. It is possible to unscrew the two end pieces so the table could be broken down to two half moon ends each with two legs, the middle pieces and the 6 chairs.
