13.2 appaloosa pony happy hacker childs best friend

Pennie is a 13.2 appaloosa who is 9yrs old. Shes a real sace steady happy hacking pony not phased by the heaviest of traffic. Has been ridden and climbed on by children from 18months old and my 5yr old has just got on and plodded around without tack etc. she has been ridden by adults also and stepped up for then. Pennie has done little schooling and jumping however she shows willing and is happy to learn. Long term home for 6yrs. Pennie can be tied up and groomed for hours:) very *kid broke* Bad bits! Pennies a little low on her pasterns but this has never caused any lameness/pain or and ridden issues. Can't really believe I'm having to write this. I met my best friend 1.5 years ago when he was 3. Spent the last year and half trying to fix him, spending thousands at the vets on bone scans, X-rays, blocks, MRIs... he was put to sleep due to the extend of the damage a short while ago. I'm seeking my new best friend, something that can stay with me for the rest of their life. I intend to do a bit of everything (jumping, dressage, happy hacking etc.). I'm happy for a project, but prefer that hes ok with busy roads (only way off our yard is onto main bus route). Would prefer no schooling as I like to do it myself. Owner can come see him whenever they'd like. The yard he'd be kept on can be vetted, and is 5*. I already have a stable and field ready as have kept it on from losing my boy.   15.5" Native pony show Saddle (not Fylde)

This is a virtually unused 15.5 inch Medium/Wide saddle (8.5inches between D rings) superb English leather saddle made in Somerset by Rich and Sons, ideal for hacking or showing. This was a great fit on a 14.2 part bred Welsh Sec D and is very comfortable to sit on. It is fairly deep and therefore gives a very secure position. Being a GP saddle it can be used for most disciplines. The maker was asked by the prospective and rather insistent owner to fit a crupper but of course this was not needed on a 14.2hh pony so needless to say it was taken off hence the marks on the rear of the cantle but of course it doesnt affect the saddle performance.   15.5" Forester pony show Saddle (not Fylde)

This is a fantastic 15.5 inch Wide fit saddle (9inches between D rings) leather saddle in excellent condition and ideal for showing or hacking. This was a great fit on a 13.2 SHP and won classes at the BSPS summer championships. It is also very comfortable to ride in. This saddle has been to the top, used at county level and needs to find its next home. Being a GP saddle it can be used for most disciplines and we used it from time to time for workers and general Pony Club activities. UK postage free but will send to other locations POA

Looking for a new best friend

Super 13.3hh pony, 13 years old with low mileage; she has been outgrown by both of my children and she is now without a job. She is a black Highland/Haflinger cob type easy to do (clip, shoe, box), and an incredibly good doer. We have had this super pony for 5 years and she has taught my son at 11 years how to ride, and she has restored my daughter's confidence. She has a very lovely personality, and she is smart. She does not buck or rear. She is agile, loves sponsored rides and hacking, she loves water, gymkhanas, jumping and having fun. We have done a little intro dressage and she did herself proud. She has a soft snaffle mouth and lives out all winter. Because of her type she needs a little more care during the summer against midgies and flies, and she requires limited grass. Please do come and meet her. She would be super for a mother/daugher or mother/son share; she is suitable for a small teenager, or a gung-ho youngster. My pony is quite heavily built, so not suitable for a fragile child. Her vaccinations are up to date. She wears half a set of shoes. She has been brought back into work after a year at grass and is now ready to move on to another loving home. Read More
