We used this humidifier when our infant son got recurring colds and was waking up at night. Worked a treat! Just make sure you empty the water tray when not in use. The Beurer Air Humidifier JLB44 is perfect for a baby's or toddler's room to keep the humidity levels at the optimum levels. It is extremely quiet so can be used throughout the night. It prevents drying of the mucous membrane in the nose and stops the throat drying out making sleep much easier and more comfortable. It works when a membrane in the humidifier, vibrated by ultrasound, moves the water and releases tiny water droplets from the surface. The fan then draws in air at the bottom of the device. The air is humudified with the released water droplets and blown gently upwards towards the opening at the top of the humdifier and a stream of humidified air is released into the room.
