Cara is a rising 7 year old 14.2hh pure arabian mare with all correct paperwork. She is a beautiful little horse with a loving personality and willing attitude, although she does prefer women She hasn't been ridden to date but we have started lunging in full tack which she took to with ease. Sad sale of Beautiful Arabian mare

I am having to sell my Arab mare Aklah Fantasia / Taz. who has been with me for nearly 8yrs. (bred by Tina Bennett at Aklah Stud.) I am heartbroken about it but I am loosing my stables and grazing very shortly, plus she deserves someone who can give her the attention and work she needs. She is lovely natured but I havnt been able to ride all this year due to an accident, so she has been in field all summer, with her friend Purdy, the sheep! I did start to lunge her, at start of summer, and got on her back without any problems. so she would take no time to get back into work. Through no fault of her own i have the heartbreaking decision to sell my lovely mare. I have had her for 3 years purchased after a short time racing (too slow). She is good with farrier, clipping, loads in trailer and generally a lovely mare to be around. I hack alone and in company although she can be spooky, more so when she is on her own so not a novice ride.This is usually at moving things such as deer or a dog running at her. She has been good on the road and used to tractors. i have competed at low level dressage walk and trot and some pre-lim. Canter in an arena needs working on as she needs to soften and develop from behind rather than the forward going of a racehorse. I have put her over a jump and she loved this but she needs someone with confidence to develop this further. Shes not perfect but very willing and deserves a 5* forever home, someone willing to continue her education build her confidence and Im sure she will give a lot in return. Millie is a pretty 9 year old TB chestnut mare, unfortunately we have no jockey for Millie as my daughter now has a young family. Millie has been brought back into work over the last few months doing novice show jumping/ dressage/ x country. Millie now needs an experienced jockey to further her education as she's still green. Millie is a very willing mare but is not a novice ride. Millie can be get nervous/ spooky when hacking alone although she is improving with each ride.
