Charvel So Cal modded/customised - Japan neck, Mex body - SKB Hardcase
I haven't long put this one together. It's had a professional fret level and plays like nothing else I have! I'd absolutely keep this if I could make use of it, alas I've way over-spent on guitars/parts etc so cannot afford to keep a guitar for the sake of it, no matter how lovely it is to play. Spec: MIJ neck - in fact it's a very rare early run (maybe even prototype?) neck, a touch thinner than the Pro Mod run (of which I've played/owned many!) Absolutely spotless as you can see, never gigged. Fitted with Jackson-branded Gotohs. MIM So Cal body - Alder. previous owner had done a botched job trying to fit a white strat pickguard on there so I bought a brand new Dragonfire one and fitted it properly. Pickups: Seymour Duncan Hotrails in the bridge, Li'l 59 in the neck, brandless single coil in the middle. Not sure what it is but never use it anyway tbh! Controls: You've got your standard strat 5-way switch for all your normal pickup blending options, however I fitted a mini-toggle where the 1st tone pot usually is in order to split the coils of the two humbuckers for maximum versatility. Floyd Rose as per standard on the Charvels Backplate is missing and it has a few marks - chiefly the big scratch near the Floyd (pictured) but this is essentially a massively versatile shred machine for practically any style of music. Gorgeous neck (you seriously have to feel these Charvel profiles to know why people bang on about them all the time) all packaged in a solid Charvel SKB hard case. Feel free to ask any questions!
