Charity Gala Concert & Art Exhbition
Holy Trinity Church – Friday 5th December pm for 7.15pm start On December 5th , Seaford College Choir will be performing a range of songs and carols on behalf of Guildford-based the halow project, which helps young people with a learning disability. In addition, the charity will be exhibiting images of young people who took part in a photographic and a mixed media art project earlier in the year. The exhibition brings together a range of images showing how halow young people see themselves, feel about their images and would like others to see them. halow project supports young adults with a learning disability to live the life they choose as independently as possible; giving our young people a voice and a choice about their futures. halow has always been determined not be ruled by labels, and the young people we work with have a wide range of diagnoses, medical needs and issues that affect their everyday lives. However, at halow we focus on and help them explore their own talents, abilities and potential. Tickets for the concert cost £ to include a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. (Children £5.00). These are available from halow (11 Quarry Street – opposite the King’s Head) telephone: .
