Vremia 'Russian' watch, written as '?????' in Cyrillic script, hand-wound, unsold warehouse stock, never worn, in very good condition, with tag and protective film on case back. Vremya, established under Binda's initiative, produced a line of Soviet-style watches, taking pride in Swiss assembly.Vremya sought to obtain popularity through the Soviet style of the product (at the time being quite popular), and also the high value associated with a Swiss production. Given that the company behind the brand is actually Italian, some people do not like to call them "Russian watches". Vostok Amfibia Vintage Russian Soviet CCCP mechanical divers watch

Mechanical Vostok Amfibia dive watch. I imported it from Ukraine following refurbishment and it works splendidly. Like all Vostok watches it has the pressure-seal waterproofing system which adaptively seals the watch case tighter as the watch goes deeper underwater- although I don't know for sure if the original 200m waterproof rating is still applicable as I have never tested it. From the looks of it it was made some time in the eighties. The bezel is bidirectional, but a little stiff. The mechanical(wind up) movement seems to normally last hours which is excellent for the age, and the date mechanism also works perfectly. It's a stunning example and the Sean Connery-style NATO strap included is practical and looks cool. As per the pictures, the lume is excellent and unlike on most watches it actually works!
