Dark Bay 9yr old Gelding. Cruz is a steady boy who loves to hack alone and in company. Always looks after his rider experienced or novice. Fantastic in traffic, farm machinery, lorries etc. However Cruz is not a novice ride as can be forward going when excited. Has hunted with us and previous owner and he loves it ! His other favourite pastimes are cross country, beach rides and fun rides. He has done PCs events and residential camp and is very sociable with mares and other geldings. He is great to catch, will come to call, from grazing in the field. Always loads first time. Good with farrier and always looking for a treat and some fuss. However, if you are looking for a show jumper, then Cruz is not the horse for you ! He can jump, (great in wide open spaces) but gets very anxious and refuses in the arena until he has realised the jump is not so scary. He can be nervous and panics when you lay over him and just spins when he sees part of you the opposite side to where you were stood. Hasn't bucked or reared but his reaction to situations he's unsure of is to spin and face you. Due to lack of time and help I am struggling to complete his education.
