Claud Butler Majestic touring cycle, 25.5" frame, good working order

This is a Claud Butler Majestic from the s: a classic touring bike of its time. This one has a relatively low mileage. The frame is Reynolds 531 and the bike comes with all-original components (Suntour Vx, Super Champion, Weinmann). The paintwork is a little scuffed on the forks, and the saddle has a mark or two, but the bike is otherwise in a pretty good condition. The bike was recently serviced, and is running smoothly. Lovely Campagnolo equipped Reynolds 531st touring bike. 21.5 inch. British racing green.

Offered for sale is a 90s Claud Butler Dalesman 531st touring bike. (Dawes Galaxy equivalent) The original dark metallic green paint has the odd minor rub/scratch here and there but it is in great condition with no rust. Some of the original stickers were tatty and not particularly attractive so I removed them which has given the bike a lovely clean look. The bike is in excellent working order. The hubs have been serviced and are running smoothly and the rims run true. The canti brakes are excellent stoppers, too. The bike has a Campagnolo Veloce 24 speed indexed drivetrain. The hubs are also Veloce and are paired with a nice set of Mavic touring rims. The saddle is a nice perforated number by Bassano and the bars have just been wrapped in matching leather-effect tapes. The original Exage levers have a quick release feature to assist wheel removal. It has full length guards and a nice alloy rack and is ready for touring or commuting duties... Overall, a really nice, comfortable, bike which is a size, or two, too small for me at 6'. Much better suited to someone around the 5' 8 inch mark IMO.
