Features two great sounding channels with shared eq plus full spring reverb,effects loop,lineout and ext speaker socket. The clean channel is classic fender with tonnes of clean headroom. The drive channel has gain and master volume controls and is extremely flexible. With the gain down it sounds like the clean channel,and with the gain up there more gain and fat sustain on tap than any other fender amp. Works great with pedals too. The eq is also superbly designed to enable any tone to be dialed in. Size wise this amp is just slightly bigger than a blues jnr so really easy to carry. I don't play an instrument myself but use it for P.A. in parties and plug microphones into it for Karaoke etc. This is a Carlsbro 90 watt guitar amp, with built in Gain, Reverb, Overdrive and FX loop. 2 channels and a 4 band Eq. This amp has a great range of sound and volume. Perfect for practice or gigging. May benefit from a squirt of switch cleaner in the pots apparently.

Marshall JMP 50 Plexi vintage valve amp head, dated by Marshall to or early RECENTLY SERVICED and in full working order. I have owned and used this amp for almost 40 years and I am selling reluctantly now only because I have retired from gigging. The amp has been regularly serviced during a long and active working life. It has therefore undergone some parts replacements, but it retains many original components. I’ve included photos showing the internal electrics and the exterior condition of the case. More pix can be emailed on request. Before offering the amp for sale I’ve had it fully serviced, tested and upgraded to meet modern electrical safety standards. The work was carried out by Chris Taylor at Vintage Amp Services and included a complete re-valve with new Tube Amp Doctor valves, new fuse holders, new safety-compliant standby and on/off switches and a modern I.E.C. mains socket fitted. The mains voltage is hardwired to 240V and the speaker impedance selector to 8ohms. This was for my convenience when the original movable selector inserts were lost. A current equivalent Marshall reissue X head would cost you around £ new. This amp is not a mass-produced reissue, it’s a piece of hand-wired rock ’n roll history from the ’s.
