The Carl Martin Compressor Limiter has been specially developed to incorporate the same features and sonic clarity found in high quality professional studio compressors. To achieve this it incorporates a variable threshold, variable compression ratio, variable attack and release controls and of course, a gain level. It is like new. I used it 5 times big maximum at home and never got the time to make use of it due to family reasons. No sign of wear, functions perfectly. Carl Martin Compressor Limiter Features: -Thres: Working anti clockwise, determines how much of the signal will be compressed. This is also dependent on how much signal is fed from the instrument. -Comp: Working clockwise, determines how much compression is applied to the signal allowed by the threshold setting. -Resp: Working clockwise, determines the attack/release times, going from slow to fast. In general, if you want to hear the compressor working with a crisp attack you should use slow times. -Gain: Working clockwise, sets the overall gain.Busy: Indicates the amount of compression being applied, even in bypass mode. Incredible pedal! In perfect condition. Reluctantly selling as I no longer can fit in on my effects board. Would wholeheartedly recommend this pedal though. Some official blurb, ask me any questions, have a google for reviews (can't link here). "AC-Tone is the next overdrive in the British voiced vein, as the PlexiTone it is a three in one pedal. The AC-Tone offers two channels of overdrive, voiced alike for preset usage, on top of that it gives you an up to 20dB clean boost channel. The overdrive is low to medium gained for a sweet and crispy with the mellow midrange that reminds one of the old TopBoost amps from the late 60’s, the two channels are ranging from a mild breakup to a healthy overdriven sound. One channel can be used for that slightly chimey breakup, and the other channel can be set for more overdrive giving more saturated mids and drive, you can freely set them the way that suits your needs. The AC-Tone has as most Carl Martin pedals a built in regulated (+-12V) power supply, to secure the necessary headroom that gives you the great tone." Here's a 5* review I found... "This Carl Martin pedal has a internal power supply instead of a wall wart, doesn't take batterys and is like getting three pedals in one. Turns any vintage single chanel amp in to a 3 channel amp with it's 2 drive stages and seperate boost function. Any old Fender amp will benefit from this pedal. It has a crunchy bright sound but not brittle at all. It sounds nothing like a Tube Screamer clone. Set one drive for a little shimmering crunch, set the next for full on O.D. then kick in the 20 d.b.boost for even more fun. Built like the proverbial tank too. It's in perfect condition, never gigged. The functionality is excellent but I decided to downsize my board and have no room for it anymore! Usually sells for £299, I'm looking for £200 (collection only in Brighton/Hove). It's a fantastic controller for any analogue board, if it's good enough for Tosin Abasi (AAL) it's good enough for you! Full description: "The Carl Martin Octa-Switch lets you plug eight effects into its eight effects-loops so you can run your pedals without the tapdancing that affects so many guitarists. Carl Martin have added a blue LED for every effects loop used and for each Bank (so once you are programmed, when you step on Bank 6 you will see the lights of all the effects you have assigned to Bank 6 and the Bank 6 LED). That's not the only feature added to this 3rd incarnation, the ninth switch on the left side of the case is a BYPASS switch, letting you hear the pure signal from your guitar and amp. This happened recently when I took it out for an urgent Anniversary gig.
