Carinthia Goretex HIG MTP trousers, issued to Royal Marines and UKSF for extreme cold weather environments, HIG standing for 'High Insulation Garment'. These particular trousers were used by Royal Marines, on an excercise in Norway. Extremely hard to find through disposals, a job lot of these and other items were purchased from Field Textiles. Features:- These trousers are tested mm water column when new. Elastic waistband with cord adjustment and button closure. Water-repellent YKK outer zippers. 2-way leg zipper to hem, with wind flap. 2 large side pockets. Ergonomic pre shaped knees. Reinforced inner leg area. Width adjustable hem with Velcro adjustment. Optional adjustable suspenders. Machine washable. Toggle draw cord waist. Button top with zipped fly. Full length ankle to waist band zip. 2 Velcro leg pockets and velcro ankle tab to tighten.
