A mature Norfolk man travelling by car to Northern Portugal, in late May or early June, seeks a person to share the driving of a modern automatic s.u.v. The route will probably be from Portsmouth to Bilbao/Santander in N. Spain with Brittany ferries: then to the area near Regua by the River Douro. After a few days there, by train to Porto for a few days, before returning to the Regua area. With good luck the weather at that time is usually good: daytime and 15 at night. I have been going to Portugal for over 40 years, and both it and its people are lovely. If any person(s) are interested, kindly contact me by e-mail (in the first instance).
