The Conway is a first class blue water cruiser, very stiff & comfortable, having 7 berths in 3 cabins with enough stowage space to accommodate all crew members gear, having a walk in sail locker. She is fitted with Teak Decks & Coachroof & has inmast reefing on all sails, which makes for easy sailing for single handed or inexperienced crew, with all lines led back to the cockpit so no need to leave the safety of the cockpit. The engine is a powerfull Vetus 42hp with indirect cooling giving enough hot water for all 7 crew to shower, it is fitted with a 15 gall calorifier & 100 gall fresh water tank & has a 20 gall holding tank. Elizabethan 31 Centre Cockpit Ketch Yacht

Ghost Wind is an Elizabethan 31, a very strong and solid 'around the world' boat. She has beautiful classic lines and an incredibly stable 50% displacement ratio which makes her a very pleasing and confident boat to sail. The centre cockpit gives her a good sized aft cabin with two bunks and space between them, with plenty of lockers. The main saloon in front of the cockpit can sleep two more and has plenty of living space. Beyond this the toilet and wet locker lead through to the fore cabin and a double berth, making her a possible 6 berth in total. Her rig is in excellent order with all new running rigging, good standing rigging, and good sails (roller furling genoa, main, mizzen, and storm sail). She has wheel steering with windvane self-steering which is a great bonus for the lazy sailor like me! Her engine is a Bukh 20DV which runs smoothly and starts every time. The engine was serviced this year, when a brand new brass stern tube and cutlass bearing was fitted and the rudder and steering gear serviced too. She has basic electrics refurnished this year including cabin lights, navigation lights, steaming and anchor lights, electric windlass, compass lights, VHF, 2 x Phone charging sockets, and mains shore power with 5 outlets and an RCD. Inside she has a toilet, and all the joinery is in place but she needs insulating and finishing off to make her look up to date, as she has simply been whitewashed at present, hence the price. Ghost Wind is currently in use and has just been sailed from Somerset to Scotland through a F8. This is the best boat I have ever owned and and I am only selling her as I now need a slightly larger one. She comes with Sprayhood, Lifejackets, EPIRB, new DSC VHF radio, all dock lines, fenders, horse shoes, boat hooks, bilge pump, etc and is completely ready to set sail and go.
