Here for sale is a Canon XL1s. It cost over £ for this but it has spent the last few years in my gear cabinet. It was used fairly frequently when in action and has never failed. It comes with all the original accessories shown in images but does not come with original box or manual (you should be able to download manual from internet). It comes with 3 batteries however 2 of them are taped as they have come apart a bit but still work fine. You could film all day on these. I have tested all the basics and all works OK. You can try before you buy if you want. Canon Xl1 Camcorder (for spares only)

This is a Canon XL1 Professional Camcorder. Consists of Camcorder body, Viewfinder, Stereo Microphone and Standard 16x Optical Lens. The unit is faulty and does not work, I don't know what the problem is but it does not switch on. There is no foam shield on the microphone and there appears to be a small crack on the top of the viewfinder assembly (see photo), However, the lens alone must be worth about £60. What you see in the pictures is what you get, might be useful to someone for spares or for experimentation. Located in Derby.
