Canon MP810 Printer Scanner VGC Boxed Stopped Working

Little used Canon MP810, which scans photo negatives, and documents. It did print beautiful lab quality prints, but has just stopped working, last time I went to use it. There is power at the controls, but nothing on screen, when I put an electrical screwdriver next to it, so no idea what's wrong with it. This was £265 when bought, so not a cheap printer. There is some ink with it, along with manuals, etc, in original box. It is virtually unmarked, as is the box, so pretty niffed about it packing in, although someone with knowledge may be able to easily fix it.
