  Canon XH Ai HDV Camcorder

This is the Canon XH A1, which takes HDV tapes and shoots in i high definition. This item is in full working condition with a flawless lens- although there are signs of wear such as scratches on the bottom of the camera (where the tripod attaches) and near the microphone some of the paint has scratched off- but this does not effect the cameras function.  Since buying it I have only used it a few times on set, and it has never disappointed me. I started with a Canon XL2 and upgraded to the XHA1 a few years ago I have always used Panasonic DV tapes and only recorded once with each tape which keeps the tape heads in immaculate condition along with a tape re winder. In fact i will throw the tape re winder in with the camera aswell as i do not need it any more.  The camera has always been kept in a canon silver hard case and has been looked after very well. There are some minor scuffs on the built in mic and underneath where it has been attached to a tripod but other than that it is in great condition. Fully working with no marks on the lens.  Buyer can collect and try out the camera before you buy or you can just pay through paypal and have it delivered. Please feel free to ask any questions. Very important! Many users do not know that the hand grip may crack and break at any given time causing you to drop the camera and potentially break it! I only found this out from the forums and the Canon USA website. Canon has kept fairly quiet about this issue on there XH Series of cameras in the UK. Used only once - near perfectible condition. Will explain why. I purchased this to record video to upload to youtube with my kids and purchased it along with a cheap SD card. When I got home and tried it I was confused as to why I wasn't getting the quality of video I was hoping for. I assumed it was the camcorder so went out and got a Panasonic one that was twice the price....only to find it was producing the same poor results. Discovered it was actually to do with the SD card as it had slow data transfer, so went out and got a high speed SD which got the results I needed. Never went back to using this one, so hence the reason only used once. All it is, is the camera and the charging lead. The unit needs an SD card (suggest a good high speed one). It will also require a very small usb type lead. Its not a micro usb, even that is too big, needs an even smaller one so please do your research. I truly don't know just how good this thing is, so do your research first, as its sold as seen. £15 - Camera and charging lead only. No box, no SD card or instructions.
