Canon Camcorder 8mm

I am selling a Canon UCmm tape Camcorder. This comes with all original accessories including: Wireless controller (including AA batteries) Battery Pack Compact power adapter DC Coupler Shoulder Strap AV Cable SCART cable adapter The small CR backup battery which keeps the time and date needs replaced, and the main power battery doesn't seem to hold a charge any longer. I have tried the refresh cycle on the battery a few times, however it looks like it needs replaced. The camcorder does however work from the mains adapter. I do not have any 8mm tapes to test out the recording or playback function of the camera, so this is unknown, however the camera powers on with the mains power, and switches between modes, the on screen display navigates through the various menu options and all displays on the viewfinder as expected. The viewfinder works at both horizontal and vertical angles. The straps are all in tact and the camcorder has the lens protection cap. Overall it looks in very good condition, apart from some scratches / wear marks on the underside of the camera from where it has been rested down in between use. This is just cosmetic and doesn’t affect anything. Also the battery charger also has some wear marks/scratches which again are just cosmetic - I've shown these marks in the pictures. Other than that, everything seems to be in good order, and the camcorder comes with a nice protective carry case which everything fits into. You are welcome to bring an 8mm tape along with you in order to test the camera fully, as I can't say for sure if it plays/records without a tape to try it with. It’s been at the back of my parent’s wardrobe for years and I know they used to use it many years ago. Any questions please ask. Collection from Puriton Somerset, just 2 minutes form J23 of the M5.
