I am selling my lovely Caldene Side Saddle in order to raise some much needed funds for my little dogs vet fees. This is a very well looked after habit, its in great condition, from a smoke free home. The few stray dog hairs come free!  I am a 5'9'' and a typical size 10 - this habit is a bit 'roomy' for me so I would say it was a big Jacket - Lable size 38 Arm 59cm Back 71cm Shoulders 41cm Apron The waist measures 30 inches from the waist to the longest part is 40 inches. and the long bit where the buttons are measures 29 inches Thats in my mothers words, hope it makes sense Can be collected from Kidderminster, Worchs.

Absolutely stunning black all wool side-saddle habit.  The jacket is beautifully cut and is of a cut away style showing off the canary yellow wool waistcoat beneath.  Made by Caldene for 'Langstone & Sons Limited' - Labelled 34". I have never worn it, I bought it from a friend who only competed a couple of times in it.  It is absolutely immaculate & looks like brand new!  I have hung on to it but having now sold my side-saddle I cannot see myself ever wearing it....so it is sadly for sale and looking for a new home. There is no absolutely no signs of wear - not around the buttonholes nor around the elastic loop under the apron etc.  It is of a fairly heavyweight wool and hangs beautifully.  The jacket is fully lined with polyester, the apron  is fully lined with heavy cotton.   Please look at the pics to see the quality & condition of this beautiful habit.  You will not be disappointed! As new condition.  Quality traditionally tailored jacket .Single vent at back. Warm upper lining in woolly  Tattarsall check. Lower lining is black (showerproof) with a big pocket. This has been in store since the 80s - bought as a back-up jacket and I don't know if I ever wore it.    It is thick, hence postage charge.Any more details/measurements, please feel free to contact me. All wool hunt jacket from Caldene - please excuse all the blobs on the photos, they're on my camera lens, not the jacket. Three button front, two flapped pockets, single back vent, and storm flap. The lining is Tattersall check wool throughout, and the sleeves are lined with what I'd guess is a creamy coloured nylon. The sleeves have been let down, but this is not obvious from the outside, there is no fold line showing, and there are no buttons on the cuffs. There are no internal pockets. armpit to armpit 20 ins / 51 cms, shoulder to shoulder 15.5 ins / 39.5 cms, shoulder to cuff 23.5 ins / 59.5 cms, armpit to cuff 18 ins / 46 cms, across waist 15.5 ins / 39.5 cms, length from back collar base 27 ins / 68.5 cms. ****************** Please note that payment is required within 5 days I always obtain proof of posting, so please contact me if you have not received your purchase within a reasonable timescale. Ladies Black Wool Hunt Coat by Caldene.  This coat has done quite a few seasons with me and still has many more seasons in it.  2 front pockets and one large inside pocket.  Single vent back.  One of the original front buttons missing which I replaced with one of my own but could easily put your own hunt buttons on. Some wear on the inside lining of the jacket around the skirt area but this cannot be seen and one of the front pockets the lining has a hole but could be easily sewn otherwise the jacket is in very good condition and still looks smart.
