Item specifics: Product Type: Piano and Stool Piano Material: Rosewood Style: Victorian I have a beautiful 'USED LATE VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD CASED UPRIGHT PIANO': by Carl Strauss, Berlin and a antique piano stool for sale. The piano is a straightstrung upright piano and all the strings are vertical. The action is an overdamper. The hammers are underneath a shelf, and there are stiff wires at the front of the action. The piano is in a fairly good condition but may need tuning. The frame number is: , and the total length of the piano including the piano keys measures approximately 134 cm. The wood is Rosewood veneer with a beautiful walnut carcass. Also include in the price is a beautiful used antique piano stool with draws for storage for either piano sheets, books or magazines. The piano stool has attractive ornate handles and feet. The piano stool has a beautifully designed cushion in need of reupholstering and some minor repairs are also needed to the beading's on the paino stool. The draws on the piano stool pulls out completely or if you prefer you can use the downward flap on the front drawers for easy access to your music sheets or magazines. The piano have been in the same family generation for many years and now it needs a good home. This item belonged to my late stepmother and therefore the information I give as to the date is to the best of my knowledge. Rosewood adjustable piano stool. Date is circa It has the Marsden patent adjustable screw system which allows the seat to be adjusted in height by turning knobs either side of the seat. It adjusts from " to " - fully working. Seat area is 18" x 14" Original brown velvet covering, which has a few slight marks, but there are no rips or tears. Recovering can easily be done should you wish to change the colour. The wood has no woodworm but could do with some tlc in terms of a fresh polish or wax From a smoke and pet free home.
