Bush DAC90 Bakelite Vintage valve radio, Long & Medium waveband.I have owned this radio since finding it amongs the contents of the first house my wife and I bought in . It has been played often and has had no work done to it other than a valet using Brasso as recommended by a collector/restorer I found online.Sadly the valet exposed a crack I had not noticed before but that does not affect the performance. I would say the sound is very good, quite rich. You just need to be patient & gentle with the wavelength selector when “surfing” for stationsI am neither an electrician nor radio engineer so that is just my opinion as a hoarder who is downsizing home and needs to offload some surplus toys.Having looked at other similar items on various selling/auction sites I feel this has been priced fairly, in the middle, as a proper working, very clean, but slightly scarred original example of a popular collectible item £, Shoreham-By-Sea,.

Art Deco Vintage Bakelite fan/lamp

This is a collectable Vintage Art Deco Two Tone (cream and brown) Bakelite Electric Fan lamp. It is sold in modified condition from original in that the old heating elements originally making it a fan heater have been disconnected and removed for safety reasons enabling use as decorative period lamp or fan. The coloured bulb and fan still work. Some people disconnect the fan in these units so as to be used as light. Fitted with coloured bulb which has standard bayonet holder so can easily be changed to suit colour or type. It is also useful as a purely period decorative object to create character and interest. Offered in very good original cosmetic condition considering age, with minimal chips and smooth glossy finish. Approx. measurements: H 26cm x L 35cm x D27cm Cash on collection only from Worthing.
