For sale is a spectacular hand-painted and signed large (cm) plate from the famous ceramics factory of Estrela De Conimbriga in Portugal, from their SEC XVll design. On the edge of the inner lip there are three holes for the purpose of hanging this on a wall. In used but very good condition (please see photos as these form part of the description). This decoration follows the same outlines as the decoration“17th Century Blue and White”, but the landscapes have become more colourful with the colours having been introduced. The prevalence of landscapes, cane fields and animals remains. The ceramics factory Estrela de Conimbriga is located in the town of Condeixa-a-Nova, in the coastal strip of the central region of Portugal, about 192 km north of Lisbon, 120km south of Porto, and a mere 12 km from Coimbra, the main city of the central region.
