Forest & Fella - gorgeous bunnies for adoption

Forest & Fella - gorgeous bunnies for adoption

Fella and his brother Forest were born here at the rescue on 22nd November . They are a cheeky pair of boys who love to climb and explore and race around after each other. Forest is the more confident of the two and can often be seen charming volunteers for treats, he also likes to use people as a climbing frame. They would be a lovely confident pair given a little time. Their mum Faye, dad Frankie and other 3 other family members two of whom sadly died arrived at the rescue in autumn , they had been living rough in someone's garden and many of Faye's previous litters had been killed by neighbouring cats. They are a very active pair who love to explore and would benefit from a large enclosure with lots of enrichment and places to climb. They are both neutered/spayed, vaccinated and vet checked. There is a suggested donation amount of £100 for the pair, which includes a vet check and delivery to their new home. Rehomings are subject to home checks and meeting Rabbit Residence's minimum housing requirements of 60 square feet. We are based near Royston, Herts, and rehome within a 3 hour driving distance. Honey is a Male ginger and white Neutered Lion head Rabbit. He is a med/ large size bunny and very placid. Flora is a Female English white with black markings, she is also neutered she must stay with Honey as they are a bonded pair and must never be separated. she is also a good lap bunny she is very cleaver she can jump quite high up to 4 foot high ! so an enclosed run is essential:-) they currently both use a litter tray which is in their hutch (not included) If you have a garden with enough space for a large run and have the time to care for these bunnies and give them both the love and attention they deserve to call for more information. Cats for Adoption

Cats for Adoption

Great Massingham Great Kitty Rescue, are a small group of people who have been working to eradicate the feral cat problem by neutering and / or rehabilitating the feral cats in the area. We currently have three cats who will be needing homes: Daisy Short furred black young adult (less than a year) Daisy is incredibly friendly. She loves a good fuss, even in preference to her dinner. I believe she will be a lap cat, given the choice. Billy Short furred black older kitten Billy is a really friendly little boy. He wants to play all the time, and will definitely benefit from being around other cats, preferably of a similar age to himself. Basil Short furred black older kitten Basil is a shyer boy. He will only accept a little touching from humans. So, at the moment he would make a good farm / outdoor cat, so long as he has protection from the weather. I am hoping that with a bit more patience though, he too will become a love bug. When adopting we ask for a donation towards our cost and upkeep; if you are uncertain of how much to offer, it may be useful to know that each neuter costs approximately £40. This isn't a fixed fee. If you think you may be interested in any of these cats, you can do so on here, or via our Facebook page. Read More

For Adoption: Sampson

For Adoption: Sampson

Up for adoption is our beloved Sampson, an energetic one year old who is needing to be rehomed through no fault of his own - he is a tad on the boisterous side and our new landlord doesn't accept pets. He is half lab and collie x husky on his mums side. Loves children once they find his tickle spot! He needs quite an active household where there aren't any cats. Was brought up with a jack Russell and a springer spaniel, but gets very nervous around unfamiliar dogs as he was once attacked by a Rottweiler. He is all up to date with shots, worms & flea treatments. Neutered and Microchipped. We would ask that you provide us with a bit of background info when enquiring so that we can make sure he goes to the best home possible. Read More

Chiweenie For Adoption

Little Raisin is ready to find a forever home of her own. She is a 1 year old chiweenie who is cat and dog friendly. Raisin is very sweet and loves people but she is still quite nervous of new situations so would not be suitable to live with young children. She is very frightened of wearing collars and harnesses, probably due to some previous mistreatment with them so is not yet lead trained and will need a home with people who will give her the time to deal with this at her own pace as her confidence grows. Raisin must be homed with another dog or dogs as she is incredibly social and loves to play and will draw her confidence from the dogs around her. She is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and will be subject to a home check and adoption fee. She will also come with 4 weeks free insurance and voucher for a box of free food. Read More
