This rug has a number of features that makes this a great addition to your horse’s stable wear. The outer fabric is made with a tough Polypropylene, this provides added strength to the rug. Featuring a 300g Thermobonded polyester wadding. The lining offers anti-bacterial qualities to protect your horse also keeping the rug fresh and in good condition. The lining is also a Stay-Dry lining that will wick moisture away from your horse and ensure they are always kept dry. I am selling my 6'9" Bucas Smartex Extra 300 gram turnout rug.  This rug is lightweight, yet incredibly warm insulation in between two very advanced technical layers.  The layer next to the horse is a 300g Bucas ‘‘Stay-Dry” lining that wicks away moisture from the horse so the fabric is never wet on the horses skin.  The outer layer is a ballistic nylon for ultimate strength with a breathable and waterproof inner coating ensuring the horse is dry at all times. The Smartex rug has shoulder darts for extra room and movement and the shoulder areas are lined with soft nylon to prevent rubs.  The Smartex Extra also features the unique ‘Click n Go’ closure system. The rug also benefits from a double layered chest panel with an additional Velcro band for added security. Padding in the panel also gives comfort and protection against rubs. Cross surcingles and detachable elastic leg straps, a tail flap for added protection and reflective piping around the edge of the rug are all essential details. Velcro panels on either side of the neck give the option to add the Combi Neck Cover. This is a very sad sale of a great rug that was only used for 1 week on my youngster last winter,  you can imagine my disappointment when I got it out to try the other day only to find he's outgrown it!
