The flysheet is permanently fitted and opens in place as you erect the tent.The tent has a heavy duty outer door with inner mosquito mesh door allowing access from any end, both have a heavy duty zip closer. The tent once cover is removed erects in ten seconds, only the telescoping awning cover support arms need to slide out and lock in place. The tent also has two small again fly mesh vents which can be open or closed..I have a flat bed roofrack that the tent will sit easily on this in turn sits on two Thule type roofbars,not supplied but will take any offer on the roofrack flat deck to mount the tent on..
