The Horseware Micklem Competition Bridle is a FEI approved variation of the Micklem Multi-bridle (the comp bridle is only a bitted bridle, not a multi). The Horseware Micklem Comp bridle has been designed from the outset with comfort in mind without sacrificing control. William Micklem found that a lot of horses resist the control of a rider due to discomfort on key facial nerves caused by ill-fitting bridles. He then spent years with Horseware Ireland developing a bridle that didn't press on these nerves and enabled the horse to focus on the control and not the pain of the bridle. The Micklem bridle is made from eco-friendly leather and high shine stainless steel buckles.
