Great condition for it's age, many small marks as expected and discolourations as would be expected but no real damage. Very usable and lovable. Brown lovely rich colour, see photos. Since it is a used leather saddle, there are signs of wear and some discoloration to the leather. If you would like more detailed photos just ask. Has been in storage for ages since the horse it was bought for retired, so it has not had that much use for its age - but needs cleaning. Details about   kieffer "excellent" brown gp saddle 18in

This saddle has been well looked after and is about 5yrs old (one owner from new). It is a medium width but the tree can be adjusted by kieffer. The seat is 18ins and its a GP cut. Its 8inches between the D rings at the front and would probably suit a quite high withered horse. It is used, so has usual signs of wear on girth straps etc. It was recently checked by a master saddler and had some stitching repairs (not sure if you can see them in the picture, but they are around where there is some padding behind riders lower leg - they are only visible on close inspection). There is a scuff on the back of the cantle (possibly visible in the picture by the "excellent" tag) and also a small white (paint??) mark on the seam on front right hand side (just visible in the front view pic, but on left as you look at it). For sale as my horse has recently put on a lot of muscle, which combined with his ridiculously high withers, means its no longer ideal for him. I have tried to list as best as possible, but let me know if you have any questions.

Puts you in a perfect position for schooling, hacking and jumping- it has been well used and due to the quality German manufacturing and engineering this saddle will last for many years to come. Very secure ride, the INN has a moderately deep seat, large knee rolls, adjustable/removable thigh blocks which can be placed in 2 different positions, flap is forward. Wool flocking. Includes Kiefer cover. Sad sale as doesn't fit new horse:(  Leather has a beautiful grain, increasingly so as it ages, the suede has some marks as you would expect from a used saddle but would clean up nicely. Both sets of leather girth straps all in place and stirrup leather holders/keepers both in place and fully functioning.  A real bargain as new Kieffer saddles retail at £. Brooks Professional leather saddle dark brown and saddle care kit.

Hi, for sale is a brooks professional leather saddle. From researching these saddles i have discovered that they were first produced in and were the top saddle produced by brooks using the best leather. This was a race style low profile saddle. It is one of the earlier designs as later designs had more leather over the nose. It is used and over 40 years old so it has marks and some scratches. I have recently added proofhide to it. Included in the sale is a brooks maintenance kit. This includes an unused brooks saddle spanner and an unused brooks cloth. Also is a tin of brooks proofide.
