kieffer garmisch GP saddle 17.5” size 2 adjustable wide

Black kieffer garmisch GP saddle in a size 2 which is ”, this one measures approx 17.5”. The removable thigh rolls also make this a popular option as a jump saddle and the cut back head means it is great for high withers. The tree is adjustable by saddlers by heating it and it is currently approx wide to wide extra wide (horse it was used on is in a Thorowgood WXW orange gullet) The last photo is of the wither tracing that the saddle is currently adjusted to. The saddle is in lovely condition with just a little rubbing on the thigh rolls (shown on photos) and the usual stirrup leather marks for a used saddle, no scratches or nicks out of the cantle and the saddle is a good strong black colour. Kieffer GP saddle 17.5" brown. This is a well used saddle but still in good condition. It fitted an IDxTB the had a high wither but unfortunately does not fit new horse.

Details about   kieffer "excellent" brown gp saddle 18in

This saddle has been well looked after and is about 5yrs old (one owner from new). It is a medium width but the tree can be adjusted by kieffer. The seat is 18ins and its a GP cut. Its 8inches between the D rings at the front and would probably suit a quite high withered horse. It is used, so has usual signs of wear on girth straps etc. It was recently checked by a master saddler and had some stitching repairs (not sure if you can see them in the picture, but they are around where there is some padding behind riders lower leg - they are only visible on close inspection). There is a scuff on the back of the cantle (possibly visible in the picture by the "excellent" tag) and also a small white (paint??) mark on the seam on front right hand side (just visible in the front view pic, but on left as you look at it). For sale as my horse has recently put on a lot of muscle, which combined with his ridiculously high withers, means its no longer ideal for him. I have tried to list as best as possible, but let me know if you have any questions.

Brown lovely rich colour, see photos. Since it is a used leather saddle, there are signs of wear and some discoloration to the leather. If you would like more detailed photos just ask. Has been in storage for ages since the horse it was bought for retired, so it has not had that much use for its age - but needs cleaning.
