From researching these saddles i have discovered that they were first produced in and were the top saddle produced by brooks using the best leather. This was a race style low profile saddle. It is one of the earlier designs as later designs had more leather over the nose. It is used and over 40 years old so it has marks and some scratches. I have recently added proofhide to it. Included in the sale is a brooks maintenance kit. This includes an unused brooks saddle spanner and an unused brooks cloth. Also is a tin of brooks proofide.
