And is pristine Spruce Top & Wild Cherry back and sides, which came from a farm in North Devon and was machined prior to Andy & Simon at Brook setting to work on it, at the beehive manufacturers in Oakhampton (piece of her history there for you!) If you are reading this, then you know JUST how amazing these guitars are The Wild Cherry sound sits nicely between the tightness of Mahogany and the deep booming Rosewood, just perfect ! It sounds, incredible................................ It just had its first free service, just last week, and Andy also installed a brand new Fishman Humbucking pick up (another £150) and a neck strap button too I had intended to start using her and to do some recording, but a family emergency has suddenly arisen out of the blue and I need to sell her, full stop Total cost was £, so save £550 ! Rescue this Tamar 24 motor sailer! She is offered as seen,with nothing vouched for or tested. The hull has no obvious flaws. Water ingress has damaged interior woodwork. The engine is not the original Perkins (which would be blue) but is a more recent 3 cylinder indirect cooled engine. As it is red it may be Beta. It is likely to have been damaged by water and would need reconditioning or rebuilding. She has a centre cockpit, wheel house, galley area, forecabin and aft cabin. At some point the heads has been removed and the compartment fitted with shelves. There are sails in place and further sails down below. Their condition is likely to be serviceable.
