11 month old German Shepherd girl

We recently took into our care a female German Shepherd, when the previous owners could no longer take care of her (they were elderly). She's been a bit of a handful to say the least, she's very active, constantly on alert, always wants to be where you are! She IS reactive to other dogs and will bark and lunge, but it is out of anxiety, she's not a confident girl and needs someone to boost that confidence for her. Once she's gotten to know a dog or person, she's absolutely fine. She is not good on the lead, but DOES know the 'Heel' command, so just needs someone who can work with her plenty to progress this (hot dogs help...). Recall is hit and miss - always been good when I've tried it in enclosed areas, but realistically I've never properly let her off the lead when there could be distractions about, such as other dogs. I don't think she'd be inclined to run off but can't guarantee. The key thing about her is that she is anxious and needs a lot of love, training and discipline to help her realise she doesn't need to be 'in charge' or 'pack leader'. She is a high energy dog and needs plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Loves running around with other dogs (once been properly introduced). Not known how she is with children - probably best not to be homed with young children. She's now 11 months old, had all vaccs including kennel cough. Is great in the car. She is currently crate trained, she does whine when first left alone but quickly settles. She is house trained. Pure bred, have all paperwork for her. Microchipped/Kennel Club registered. She hasn't yet been spayed, but I have her booked into be in December, so if I still have her then, she will be spayed. She's had her first season (started the day after we collected her - nightmare!). Would love to keep her, but my partner has recently deployed and I do not have as much time as I'd like to dedicate to her, and I also do not have the knowledge (she is a big dog and if trained incorrectly could potentially be a danger - of course any dog could, but she's bigger than most!). Would be ideal if she could be homed with someone who has experience with big dogs. She is absolutely adorable (when she's tired and worn out!!). British Bulldog 13 month old male

We are having to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome our much loved british bulldog. His name is Winston and He is 13 month old, a big boy at 32kg,he is full pedigree although not KC registered because he was brought over from Budapest,he does have a full passport. We did this because the gene pool in britain is shallow and they have health issues, his looks and stature show what a fantastic example of the breed he is. As with all bulldog breeds he does require grooming which involves cleaning his folds "skin wrinkles" as they can get sore, he does have a straight tail however so no issues with his tail like a lot of bulldogs. We are having to rehome due to work commitments and he isnt getting the attention he deserves. he is really loving and loves nothing more than a cuddle, he loves human company and would prefer for someone to be around a lot of the time but is also happy to stay on his own every now and then, he has always lived with 4 children so is great with kids. He can be a bit of a sneak thief and if food is left he does think its his and will take it. He will leave things if told however, he is house trained but if left for hours and hours does have the odd accident although as hes still classed as a puppy this is normal behaviour. He doesnt really bother with other pets, he doesnt bother about next doors cats although they dont let him get close. He walks around our local Lido around ducks and geese and doesnt bother that they are there. He is still entire with no health issues although can get itchy skin with rubbishy food but we have always had him on wainwrights with no issues. Read More
