TEISCO STARWAY MJ-2L Electric Guitar 60'S BRIAN ENO / ROXY MUSIC

Teisco Starway MJ-2L (version 1) Natural finish w. tremolo - circa. made in Japan. Rare, fabulous! As used by Brian Eno, Roxy Music. In excellent condition for it's age & stored indoors. The switches are a little scratchy at times, surface mounted pick ups working fine. It's not been used for a couple of years so I'm sure if you want to play this Starway professionally, you may want to have it setup - that's true every guitar as I'm sure you would agree? Talked to Brian Eno about his recording process a few months back at the South Bank. My sole reason for buying a Starway was because it was used on the 'Another Green World' album. I've always loved the unusual finish on this axe. I'm getting too old now and simply don't have the time to use it. He also mentioned it's use on 'Here Come The Warm Jets' & 'Taking Tiger Mountain'. Saw one of these in sunburst on Denmark Street not long ago for £895 so grab a bargain! I've never seen one like mine though, so a very unusual/unique item. Now go listen to the Stairway guitar solo on "I'll Come Running".
