Original 19th Century Cast Iron Complete Fireplace

The moulded mantel above a ropetwist and panelled frieze over a horseshoe enclosed grate within volute scrolled jambs! Is what the super posh valuer said. This is a gorgeous solid cast iron fireplace which is very unusual in design- similar design replicas cost thousands. Please note this fireplace is very heavy - it took 4 men to unload it and they struggled. The fireplace does need some tlc- there's paint along the edges were the previous owner painted the wall with the fireplace in situ. I would remove it and clean it up myself but I don't know what I am doing. The locking bolts at the rear have been replaced at some point.
