  BLACK 17 INCH MW HEATHER MOFFETT DRESSAGE

This is a fairly early Heather Moffett saddle that I bought directly from Heather. The flaps and girth straps have been professional shortened as I wanted to use it as a showing/hacking saddle. It is in excellent condition and has only been used less than a dozen times due to ill health, I no longer have a horse to fit it and feel it is completely wasted in the tack room. The panels are lined with surge and flocked with wool (both good for the horses back) and it has a built in memory foam seat saver (great for the rider, and the most comfortable saddle I have ever sat in), the set back stirrup bars and deep seat put you in the correct position. If you live locally you are welcome to come and try it or please ask any questions you may have.

17 inch Heather Moffett St. Merryn Dressage saddle for sale. Tree can be adjusted by manufacturer, Barry Swain, but is currently set to suit a barrel on legs!!! 11ins between D's, I don't think saddles come any wider. Very comfortable memory foam seat and the large knee blocks on the outside of the flap, along with the suede seat, make it very secure to ride in (sitting bucks is effortless!) Stirrup bars are set back so your leg hangs effortlessly in the correct shoulder, hip, heel alignment. Serge lined with huge panels to disperse rider's weight. Very comfortable saddle for horse and rider. These were very expensive saddles in their day and are now hard to find. It is in excellent condition for its age and has been lovingly looked after and always kept in the house. Although it has been surplus to requirements for several years I have kept it (and my other St. Merryn) "just in case" because I was reluctant to part with it but it's just gathering dust. Heather Moffett Flex-ee (Treeless) Dressage saddle (Black, inch seat) Super lightweight versatile treeless dressage saddle ideal for cob/native types. The leather tree, adjustable shoulder shims and adjustable memory foam saddle panels on this saddle means you can adjust/tailor the fit yourself quickly and easily simply by moving the panels so the saddle can be used on a variety of wide, extra wide or extra extra wide horses or just on one horse throughout the year as it gains/loses weight/condition. NB: This specific saddle it best suited to large shouldered, low or fairly flat withered native / cob / Irish Draft type builds. It would not be suitable for high withered horses where it has a lower flatter pommel and panels. Incredibly comfortable and supportive seat where it has a fantastic memory foam lined deep seat and tall cantle synonymous with many of the modern day dressage saddles. It also has large adjustable velcro kneeblocks so you can create the perfect riding position. This saddle really sits you securely in place. Although it is a dressage saddle can also be used for hacking/just general riding where being straight cut it doesn't interfere with the horses shoulders. These saddles rarely come up for sale second hand where they are so versatile. Genuine sale. In excellent condition still where it has always been carefully looked after.
