A speaker with the power, clarity and presence of the mighty 800D Diamond, but smaller sized proportions, the 802 DiamondRetaining the groundbreaking spherical head design of its bigger brother, it’s the closest you’ll get to true studio sound at home. While the slimmer dimensions of the 802D Diamond make it an easier fit for living spaces, the basic design retains nearly all of the features of the top-of-the-range 800 Diamond, including the teardrop form of the midrange head. Moulded from Marlan, a synthetic, mineral filled resin, this granite-hard enclosure is sprayed with seven coats of lacquer and polished by hand until it's as smooth as As with all of the speakers in the range, the 802D Diamond features our legendary Nautilus™ tapering tube drive unit technology. pioneered on our trailblazing Nautilus speaker, the tubes work like horns in reverse, minimising colouration by soaking up excess energy from the back of the driver. A pair of B&W (Bowers and Wilkins) DM602 SW 8ohm HiFi Speakers Each speaker is (mm): 236W x 300D x 490H Excellent condition throughout. One speaker has a small scratch/scuff close to the top left corner on the right hand side panel (as you look at it). See picture. The picture actually makes it look worse than it is! The cones and their surrounds and the tweeters have always been covered by the grilles and are in perfect condition. They sound great with good bass and treble response. The speakers can be bi-amped/bi-wired for improved clarity. Gold plated shunts for single wiring are currently fitted. I'm selling these only because I have recently replaced them with altogether more expensive speakers.
