Vintage / Retro Folding Bike Bespoke Restoration With Warranty

Hi folks For sale is this fully restored vintage folding bike. The frame and forks were stripped back to bare metal to check structural integrity. They were then given a surface rust treatment to form the patina shown in the photos, followed by a protective coating to seal the metal. It looks so good in real life, with the added bonus of deterring bike thieves. The old, poor quality brakes were totally removed for a very clean look without cables etc. In their place I built a brand new Velosteel coaster hub into the rear wheel, giving backpedal braking. All other parts are totally original. Where the chrome had given way to that beautiful patina, I removed the surface rust before sealing again. It looks fantastic in real life, full of character. I finished it off with new white grips and new Kenda whitewall tyres. It's a LOT of fun to ride. Very nimble and fast, perfect for popping to the shops or if you have a caravan etc. for your holidays. A mesh basket on the rear rack would be ideal. I will consider sensible offers. I have been a bike mechanic and wheel builder for almost 18 years. You can trust my work. To back this up, I'll include a 6 month labour warranty with this bike. A rare and unusual piece. This solid oak refectory style table has been in my family for years and stored for the last 20. Downsizing now forces sale. It's idea for an antique restoration project. Due to exact metric dimensions and unusual leg design I believe that it may not be English. It's in need of some skilled work to restore it to its full glory. The legs have had brackets fitted to repair cracks in the wood, but when assembled all parts fit securely together. The top is a single piece of oak, 5 cms (2") thick and very heavy. Easy Restoration -Vintage retro bike 3 speed classic bicycle

Usual scratches to paint due to use. Been in garage. 3 speed Sturmey Archer gears. Sturmey archer Hub - it appears to be dated of 9/ 81, although it could be 9/ 61 but hard to tell. The pedals do not have reflectors, which dates the bike pre Inch frame. 26 inch wheels Needs a little bit of TLC, brake and gear adjustment. Maybe a spoke tighten here and there and mudguard adjustment. Gear toggle moves freely in and out but gear cable is slack, needs adjusting or replacing. You can still buy these new. Chain can do with a bit of oil and greasing. Wheels move freely. Good tyres, both hold air, although may need pumping up a bit.
