Boots Auto 8 Zoom De luxe 8mm Projector & Boots 40" x 30" Simplex Screen

This has been sitting under my fathers stairs for 30 years or more, so I was very surprised to find it still works. The last time I remember seeing this working was when I was approaching 18 and my mother insisted on showing my girlfriend of the time home movies of me as a 5 year old - I can still remember the embarrassment I felt even though that was 40 years ago!! I suspect that the rubber band that drives the rear spool has perished over time because although the front reel works fine (forward and reverse) you have to manually turn the reel to avoid the film spilling out everywhere. I assume this is simple to do. Details on the box state... Automatic threading (this works) Push button control panel (forward, reverse, stop and light buttons) f/ mm Zoom Lens Reverse projection (works) Variable speed control (didn't know how to do this so not sure if it works) Power rewind (works) Complete with Built-in Carrying case (metal) and 8v 50w Lamp. Sankyo Dualux H Super 8/Standard8/Single 8 projector

As you can see from the photographs...the projector is in superb condition and working perfectly. Being a sprocket-less projector, this will not chew up your precious film. I used it for converting Super 8 to digital [i.e. projecting onto a white wall and video taping the projected images], and have now no further need for the machine. The book/lead [with 2 pin plug..just need to use a shaver adapter], brush/film clipper/box /takeup reel/ and cover.
