FOR SALE! To a 5?? HOME ONLY! 14.2hh coloured gelding. Boi is 13years old bombproof in all ways. He has brought my daughter on from nervous and very novice, to teaching her to canter and jump and then entering her first show, winning her classes and being awarded reserve champion! Boi is a true schoolmaster. He hacks through all traffic and is not bothered by lorries or tractors, he steps up his work dependant on the ability of his rider and really enjoys jumping. He has been ridden by complete novices to very experienced riders and he steps it up or down when needed. The only issue we have with boi is he can be difficult to catch if turned out in a big field with lots of grass (but even then we now have a system lol) boi likes routine and if he is brought in every day he will be waiting at the gate. Boi is barefoot and has never been sick or required the vet. Please only 5 star long term homes need apply as this is a very difficult decision to make and he will be very very difficult to replace however my daughter has hopelessly outgrown him and we can't afford to keep two. Honey - Stunning Bombproof 14.1 Mare

*Advertised on behalf of a friend* Regrettably for sale is Honey, a gorgeous compact 14'1hh approx. coloured mare. 7 years old. Honey has been used as part of a trekking centre for the past 3 years (at least!), where she has taken riders of all abilities (some having never sat on a horse before!) over Llanllwni mountain, through Brechfa forestry and the local villages (including riding down a fast main road). We have yet to come across anything that phases her- she is fine with all traffic, including massive logging lorries, tractors, cyclists etc. She is totally fine with loose livestock- having ridden past herds of cattle (and buffalo!!), horses (we often come across inquisitive groups of horses who come over to investigate. This includes stallions!) and tonnes of sheep! Honey absolutely adores water- will go in to any depth asked and will have a good splash- never fails to make us smile! Honestly, I could talk about her out hacking all day long. She is excellent in company! On her own we have found she needs some encouragement to get past 'the threshold' but once out is fine. She doesn't do anything dangerous - just halfheartedly asks to turn around! Honey is a responsive ride- she doesn't need kicking but also has good breaks. She's certainly no showjumper but has popped an occasional ditch whilst out and about. The ONLY trouble we have had with her is sometimes out hacking she trips (never right down or anything)- we have found this only happens when the rider has her on a loose rein at walk and isn't paying attention. We don't have schooling facilities so she's not got much experience in this area. On occasion she has been ridden around the field just playing around.
