Bateson Van Trailer 10'x5'x6' Excellent condition as only used for children's soft play equipment. 13 pin convertor and Bradley hitch lock included in sale price. The sides are protected inside by steel tophat load securing rails. The trailer is panelled with high gloss glass fibre plywood laminate one piece side sheets, with 18mm phenol coated none slip floor and a translucent glass fibre roof. The aerodynamic front is glass fibre with an 18mm ply internal bulkhead which also provides storage pockets for load securing equipment. The front incorporates a spare wheel and carrier and an ingenious mirror which allows the trailer hitch and vehicle tow ball to be seen by the driver during coupling, eliminating misalignment and damaged bumpers. Auto-reversing over-run brakes are fitted as standard with a cast coupling and integral jockey wheel. Avonride softride axles are fitted as standard giving a smooth ride even when unladen. The 300V has galvanised axles and the mudguards are sealed to the body and have special damage resistant end mouldings. The rear lamps incorporate all functions in one stylish unit and are mounted on the steel brackets wired with a waterproof junction box to a standard type N 7 pin plug - 13 pin adaptor plug included in sale along with Bradley hitch lock. This is the trailer my father and I have had our 15ft fishing boat on since we bought the whole set up as a package in the 90s. We've owned it from new and it's been looked after. The boats my pride and joy so I've always made sure the trailer is sound. Specifics: - Galvanised and clean - Plate says 210kg unladen, 550kg gross. Manufactured in . - Tyres are excellent - Bearings fully replaced early and have done 100 miles since. We've never submerged the wheels on launching specifically to preserve bearings. You don't need to with swing trailers - Winch, jockey wheel and all the rollers are 100% functional - I've always jacked it up, and put it on blocks when not in use to preserve the torsion arms and avoid flat spots on tyres - Fully adjustable. The trailer can be adjusted to fit your boat, simply by undoing bolts and moving the rollers / cradle / front pillar to suit your boat. The trailer is really easy to handle, and the swing cradle at the back means once you've got the strap clipped on to the boat, gentle pressure from the winch lines it up for you and will pick it up even from dry land.
