The newest version of this stand is called the 'Challenge Champion Budget Drawing Stand' which is advertised on the Blundell Harling Website for £ inc. PORTLAND COURSE PLOTTER KIT The Portland Plotter is one of the most popular chart work instruments and is widely used by RYA practical and shore based instructors.  It provides a quick method of plotting courses and bearings and gives a direct reading of corrections for magnetic variation.  This new version has been developed in consultation with the RYA and has been engineered for both strength and fine accuracy. A Portland Plotter will help you to quickly and simply measure bearings on a chart and to plot bearings accurately. The rotating dial provides accuracy to a single degree and can also be used to make calculations involving magnetic variation and deviation much simpler.
