This is the original version of the HT-5 without the reverb but considered to have a tighter midrange than the later spec amps. Lovely fizzy distortion which really beefs up with the sensitive mid control, the voicing of which you can change with what they call the ISF - really a semi-parametric mid. It's genuinely a great piece of kit, ideal for home recording or playing parties. A big step up from solid-state practice amps. Distortion levels ideal for blues or classic rock, put your favourite tubescreamer clone ahead of it if you're after modern heavy metal tones. Product is as pictured: A 20 watt Blackstar HT Studio 20 Amplifier. It is a very nice combo amp with 2 channels, clean and overdrive. I've included a like to a youtube video demonstrating them both(Recorded on my phone, but sounds good enough that you get the idea). The clean channel sounds nice and smooth with my ES335. On the overdrive channel, you can get a nice bluesey kick and even with my jazz pickups I was able to achieve a decent rock/metal tone. So with an ibanez and humbucker pickups (just for example) you could get a pretty great sound. It's perfect for practice, studio use and even small gigs. The amp is actually almost completely unused. I bought it a little while ago in case of doing some gigging but was also doing a PhD at the time so... that didn't really happen (no free time whatsoever). It's been sitting in my room since. For sale is my Blackstar HT-5C which is made in in Korea. This is the non reverb version, but it has a great effects loop for use of modulation or reverb pedals. This amp has both a clean channel and a overdrive channel, with it's ISF feature that allows your tones to sound British clockwise direction or American Anti Clockwise direction. It's powered by a 1x ECC83 and 1x 12BH7 valves and it's got a 10" Celestion G10N-40 Speaker which sounds very good. You can get very nice clean tones to some great classic rock tones with many different tone options. You can even connect this combo up to an extension cab, with it's additional 8 ohm or 16 ohm inputs. Includes power cable and a footswitch for changing channels.
